Out-patient claims in overseas medical insurance

Most often, out-patient and dental treatments are paid for by the patient at the time of receiving treatment and the costs incurred are then recovered from the worldwide health insurance company. Most companies will require you to submit a claim within three months of the time you received the treatment. The claims department will usually process the claim within 10 days and reimburse the claim amount after they have deducted any deductibles applicable in your worldwide health insurance plan.

For certain out-patient claims, a Treatment Guarantee form may need to be completed by your physician prior to the treatment taking place. To find out more information about the claim procedure regarding your personal situation, contact our advisers or your worldwide health insurance company.
