This gives us an opportunity to provide insurance policies that fit

Medical Facilities
The UAE has a well established network of medical facilities that
are available 24 hours a day. There are a total of 54 hospitals and
115 health institutes in the UAE. However, these high quality health
care services are only available free of charge for UAE citizens. For
expatriates who are traveling, living, or working in any of the 7
emirates, we highly recommend an UAE health insurance plan. Contact us
for a detailed quote that suits you and all of your medical needs.
Injuries
The UAE prides itself on being a crime-free environment. The
leading cause of injury among travelers and expatriates is motor
vehicle accidents. Protect yourself by always wearing a seatbelt,
obeying the rules of the road, and wearing a helmet when riding
push/motorbikes. Try to avoid boarding an overloaded bus or van.
Remember, although some public hospitals may treat an emergency free
of charge, it is still wise to have UAE health insurance in case of a
less serious injury/illness which will cover the cost of private
hospitals.
Weather
It is sunny throughout the year in the United Arab Emirates, the
hottest months being July and August. It can get very hot in the UAE
with temperatures reaching 50 degrees Celsius. Therefore, it is vital
to be sun smart and reduce the risk of heat stroke or sunburn. Always
remember to wear a hat, sunglasses, sun screen, and drink plenty of
water. Weather during the winter months is cooler but a light jacket
or sweater should suffice.
Car rentals
There are plenty of car rental offices in each of the emirates.
Cars can be rented singly for individuals or for a driver and
passenger. You will need to provide a copy of your passport and your
driver's license if you will be paying by a credit card. Driver's
license holders from: EEC countries, Canada, Japan, North Korea, South
Korea, Turkey and USA, do not need an international license.

Saturday through Thursday. However, Friday is and an Islamic holiday
and shops do not generally open until at least 2:00pm.
